Tl;dr Have Matt help you buy a home. Matt really came in the clutch for me quite a few times throughout the home buying process. Day or night he answered my oddly specific questions and made the process much smoother than it could have been otherwise. He gave open and candid feedback throughout the whole process, ranging from tempering my expectations about what I wanted vs what I could afford and putting in a realistic offer to ultimately get what I wanted. It's rare for someone to give you their actual honest opinion when you ask for it but by doing so it made me feel better, knowing he was truly listening to me. Speaking of getting what I wanted, I will say Matt is a pretty tough negotiator. We were able to work some additional renovations into the final asking price and I fully credit Matt for making it happen. When I finally got the keys to the castle I walked into a place that was even better than when I first visited. Since the sale, Matt has continued to be a vital source of knowledge for me, answering questions and giving recommendations to this day. My original realtor was sick the day I first started looking for a home and Matt stepped in by chance; this was the best thing that could have happened. If you are looking for a home I could not recommend Matt more.

Matt knows the area and showed us several areas that fit our needs. He was extremely responsive - almost 24/7! He helped us every step of the way, even after closing. Matt knows lots of other people (lenders, home inspectors, insurance companies) he can recommend and works well with. Definitely recommend.

We had a great buying experience with Matt. He was knowledgeable about the neighborhood and was able to get us information about pre-market homes and properties being purchased for planned renovations. Communication was spot on and we heard from Matt multiple times per week to check out newly listed properties and to set up showings. We ended up purchasing a new home from a builder and he helped navigate us through the contracting and settlement process. There were some issues with construction delays, but Matt stuck with us to work with the builder and loan officer to make sure we were able to purchase our dream home. Buying a house is stressful, but we really appreciated Matt's expertise and knowledge throughout the process.

The service and attention we received from Ibby was second to none. Our situation was complicated by the fact we were moving internationally (from the UK) and required a rental initially, with a plan to buy within the year. Not only was Ibby able to find us a rental ( in our desired are for schools) but she maintained contact and up to date information on potential properties that met our requirements. My wife and I moved to Baltimore for her training at John's Hopkins. Ibby helped us find a fantastic house at a great price in a beautiful neighborhood. After the sale was completed, we still had a few months to go before we could move in, and we were living in Seattle. She continued to help us transition to Baltimore, connecting us with an excellent electrician and plumber for upgrades we decided on for our property. She made time to open the house when we had some furniture shipped to it. She also helped us by accepting delivery of our car at our house when we shipped it, as we knew nobody else in the city. In my life, I have purchased five houses before this and worked with many realtors. I have never met someone as knowledgeable, professional, and kind as she is. Best Realtor ever!

I chose Matt to represent me as a buyer after meeting with 3 different agents that Zillow recommended for me. He did an excellent job of helping me find, negotiate and buy my first home. He has lived and worked in Canton for many years and knows the area block by block. He helped me refine my interests until I honed in on my best candidate. He was extremely responsive - he bent over backward to accommodate my impossible schedule. Even when on vacation and taking care of a sick family member he was always super responsive. He provided excellent resources to help me complete many complex due diligence points. He handled a very difficult seller masterfully. He did an excellent job of negotiating my many demands. I was ready to walk twice on the deal, and both times he rescued it! Highly recommended.
